Bourbon Built was established in April 2012 and offers dry goods for wet counties. Bourbon Built celebrates the heritage of bourbon, the once and future Louisville, and a Kentucky as rugged as it is beautiful. It’s a modern brand for a nostalgic past. Louisville and towns across the Commonwealth were built on bourbon. And if you prefer a drink as strong as its tradition, you just might be bourbon built, too.

Bourbon Built was co-founded by Kevin Yates and Katie Kelty. The pair met during college at Bellarmine University and have been friends ever since. Katie has an MA in Communication, is a graphic designer, and a lover of that southern elixir of the gods, bourbon. Kevin is currently studying at the University of Louisville for a Master’s in Urban Planning. He is an urbanist, an optimist, and a goofball.
